Here’s how. With the release of firmware update 11.043, N78 users say goodbye to Nokia Software Updater, USB cables and the process of backing up contacts and reinstalling applications. It’s called SSU, or Seamless Software Updating, which you’ll be seeing more and more on Feature Pack 2 devices. The 11.043 update delivers improvements to Bluetooth stability, music player performance, camera performance and Naviscroll sensitivity. The steps to get it are simple: Go to the Device Manager (Menu > Tools > Utilities > Device Manager). Select Options > Check for updates. (If it says no updates are found, that could mean the update is not available yet for your particular device/provider; check back again later.) Follow the prompts to download the update via your data connection (for a fee) via Wi-Fi. Enjoy your updated N78. i had installed version 12.046 on my n78 but i had a lot of problems.i couldnt upload to neither to ovi or flickr,i always received a message error 400 or smt, video playback had serious problems too.following this way "OTA" update i have now a new version with the name 20.149 and now everything is ok...
